Has anyone tried Armscor bullets? I saw at the local gun shop the 55 grm 223 bullets were $10 a hundred where Hornady is +$18. I bought some and noticed they were slightly longer than the hornady. Also checked weight and the ran from 54.9 to 55.4 grains. I have not loaded any yet and but they will be used for plinking. Thanks

I haven't used the armscore but I've never paid more than $10 for 100 hornadys. Usually find them for 9 or less. I also don't have anything local near me so buy mostly online.

I have to ask where you get Hornady for $9? Thanks...

You have to look around on the net, but sometimes you can find a 6000 round case of 55 gr FMJ or SP for between $420-450 + shipping...

Wow, ten dollars a hundred? Really? Out by me these same bullets are $7.99/100. Got them at a Big R store. Loaded them for plinking and they perform fine.
