My wife and I worked in the garden today and got our potatoes, green beans, and a few other things planted. We also took our first harvest of the year from our two large Rhubarb plants. These started from little starts 3 years ago, and last year we had two good harvests from them.

My wife brought them in, cleaned them up, and made some into a delicious Rhubarb crisp tonight. With some vanilla ice cream on the side, it was a delicious treat!

I love rhubarb cobbler/pie, grandma used to make it on a regular basis but she's been gone about 3 yrs now.

I'll always grab some whenever I see it anywhere.

    Rhubarb crisp? do tell?

Its similar to a cobbler (most probably use them interchangeably) but instead of a pie crust my wife uses an oatmeal mix with the filling. She uses here grandma's recipe. Here's one I found on the net that might be worth a try.

Any left overs ? sounds wonderful!

We do have some left...but probably won't last much past tonight. Our kids love it as much as we do!
