For the last 4 years, my wife and I have been trying to have a baby. We have been very unsuccessful. Through 4 miscarriages, 2 surgeries, and even going thru a fertility specialist, we have been unable to get pregnant again.

Despite all the problems, our marriage has grown stronger. We've even gotten closer to GOD. And we have began to realize, that maybe having our own baby isn't the path we're suppose to be on. So, we have met with 3 different adoption agencies. And we have found one that we really liked.

We're looking into a domestic adoption, which this place specializes in.
And adoption is VERY expensive. More so than what we realized. Since we have been married, my wife and I struggled to make ends meet. And we're finally in a place financially that we can breathe. But, we don't want to get upside down by borrowing against our house. So we are trying to find ways to raise the funds before we get into further debt.

On Labor Day weekend, my wife and I are going to have an "Adoption Fundraiser Garage Sale". Our family and friends have generously donated a lot of nice stuff for us to sell. There will also be a bake sale. And I have been making a lot of items on my wood lathe to sell as well. Including some bolt action rifle pens, which are pictured below.

My wife and I are asking for your help to start our family. I have seen INGO help perform miracles for other members over the years, and I'm hoping for my own little miracle. Even if it's just a handshake and a small prayer, anything can help.

The sale will be Friday, Saturday and Monday. The 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. And it will be located at

Friday-Sunday 8am-5pm (may be later if there's a good turnout.)
    Monday 8am-Noon

I adopted 3 kids, expensive every time so I feel your pain. Look to see if there are any grants or state assistance to help offset your costs. If you're in the military, they may have a program through Mutual Assistance or the MWR to help defray some costs.

And then there's always selling bodily fluids or, while a little more risky, yourself!

I too might be in for one of those lovely pens.

ETA: And if my kids keep it up like they have the past couple days, I might pay YOU to adopt them.

Are ginger kids easier/cheaper to adopt?

I kid of course. Best of luck to you and your wife. I have an adopted sibling who loved to remind me that she was actually chosen, I was luck of the draw.
