It's unfortunate he was still able to detonate the explosives but the officer's actions certainly saved lives and it warms my heart that the bomber got to feel a little burn before hitting the button.

As mentioned, we don't know which group is going to claim the credit. If only there was some trait all of these groups had in common which could be used to identify them and possibly hit them first.
