Not sure if they still have them, but when I worked for Bloomington PD all of the patrol cars had a brake light kill switch. We used them at night when responding to alarms and potentially hazardous runs. Its not clear if he actually had one, but they exist.I think it's unclear about a kill switch. You can turn off brake lights by not hitting the brake pedal.

Growing up in a small town in Michigan I maaaayyyyy have know a kid or two who had brake light cut off switches on their cars.
And have been around for a long time....I had a new 1979 Pontiac TransAm that may or may not have had a switch installed....It was really simple.

I think it's unclear about a kill switch. You can turn off brake lights by not hitting the brake pedal. Turn off headlights with a switch.
He should have just pulled over and paid his tax to the gov't for driving too fast.
Most kids I used to know into fast/custom cars were good kids. Too busy buying stuff for and working on their cars to get in much trouble.
