If someone had a question about an issue with a vehicle lease, what type of lawyer would have the most experience?

Not sure exactly, but look for these criteria

    I need a lawyer
I'm holding out for a lawyer 'til the end of the night
    He's gotta be strong
    And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
    I need a lawyer
I'm holding out for a lawyer 'til the morning light
    He's gotta be sure
    And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life!

Now that song will be in my head! Seriously, it's not for me (I don't lease). It's for my daughter and son in law. The dealer MIGHT be doing something shady.

Little known fact: Footloose started out as a courtroom drama. Same with the TV show Cover Up.

Back to the OP, it kinda depends, but basically a lawyer familiar with consumer contracts.

I'm not a lawyer, but I work in the auto industry for an OEM, and deal with dealers on a daily basis. I might be able to point you in the right direction. Feel free to pm me!

They have free legal aid, so it won't hurt them to go to a lawyer.

My guess would be civil, contracts and possibly the Uniform Commercial Code.

In my basic Business Law class it was amazing how much legal encroachment the UCC allows. It is tremendous.

    Good Luck,
