OK, so I actually liked that it was a geology article... and then when I read this: "This prompted the Arizona Geological Survey to visit the site and measure the length, width, and depth of the massive fissure." my mind went straight back to the thread title and I had to laugh--even the wife enjoyed my reading that aloud and laughed as well. Good thing we are so far away from the fissure in question so we weren't deafened by echoes...
