    Now if we can just get the numbers pared down to sane levels or just get rid of the damned things.

    Ain't happenin. If nukes are outlawed only outlaws will have nukes. Once a weapon is brought into widespread distribution it will never be completely eliminated unless it becomes obsolete or easily defeated. Nukes don't fall into either category. Arms treaties are a farce intended to make the gullible feel good and sleep better at night.

    Our country would be foolish to believe any nuclear capable country if they were to say that they destroyed all of their nukes, just like they would be foolish to believe us.
