![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Bit of History My step daughter and her friend drove to Boston last weekend to watch the Red Sox and Yankee's game. While there they took in some sights, her friend is from there and was the tour guide. Several pics were taken, but this one of Paul Revere's tomb struck a chord in me. I've stared at it for several moments, thinking about that period of history. Enjoy... ![]() I have four weeks vacation time coming to me this year....I think a road trip is in the making. Would LOVE to see all the historical sights there. ![]()

I've done it twice and learn soomething new every time. ![]() The Freedom Trail Foundation ![]() The Freedom Trail Boston's popular Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile self-guided tour of 16 of the city's most significant historical sites, including the Massachusetts State House, Paul Revere's house, Old North Church, and the USS Constitution. The tour begins at the Boston Common Visitors Information Center at 147 Tremont Street and ends at the Bunker Hill Monument across the river in Charlestown. You can purchase a map of the Freedom Trail for $2, rent an audio tour for $15, or download a pdf version of the Freedom Trail map. There are also a variety of guided tours of the Freedom Trail, including the official walking tour, which is led by an 18th-century costumed guide. Call (617) 357-8300 for details.

I know there were quite a few of the "original Fenway" namesake of our own Admin. ![]() But yeah the tour map of that Freedom Trail looks pretty cool! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I want to see this, too, but like you, Sarge, I don't want to give the People's Republic of Massachusetts any of my money. We talk about so much of the area and events at Appleseed shoots, I think it would be very cool to see the places, though.... Standing on the shoulders of giants, so to speak. Blessings, Bill
