Bit of History

My step daughter and her friend drove to Boston last weekend to watch the Red Sox and Yankee's game. While there they took in some sights, her friend is from there and was the tour guide.

Several pics were taken, but this one of Paul Revere's tomb struck a chord in me. I've stared at it for several moments, thinking about that period of history.

I have four weeks vacation time coming to me this year....I think a road trip is in the making. Would LOVE to see all the historical sights there.

Even though I hate Boston, the historical tour is well worth the sacrifice. I've done it twice and learn soomething new every time.

actually the map costs $3 now, I know this because Jessica is a penny pincher and was upset that it cost so much for a map

I'll see what other sights she got pics of and post them too if anyone is interested in seeing them. I know there were quite a few of the "original Fenway" namesake of our own Admin.

But yeah the tour map of that Freedom Trail looks pretty cool!

I want to see this, too, but like you, Sarge, I don't want to give the People's Republic of Massachusetts any of my money.
We talk about so much of the area and events at Appleseed shoots, I think it would be very cool to see the places, though.... Standing on the shoulders of giants, so to speak.
