Creepy story from last night's news

One of the local news channels covered a story last night about a family in Fishers who were victimized. I ran some searches for a written report, but could not find anything this morning.

The lady of the house woke up to someone pulling her leg, but she did not see anyone. Thinking it was her six-year-old daugher, she sat up to look and saw a man crawling on the bedroom floor. As she tried to wake up her husband, the man stood up, screamed ("like a psycopath" according to her), and ran downstairs. The husband chased him, but he disappeared.

The family did not want to be identified, but they did show the neighborhood, which seemed very nice (200-300K homes).

Many people get complacent and think that just because they live in a nice neighborhood, they don't have to lock doors and bad things won't happen to them.

TomN ... on the bright side, at least in Hamilton County the residents of the home aren't allowed to hurt you during your home invasion/burglary/raping/murdering. They'll get in too much trouble with the Hamilton Co. prosecutor for defending themselves.

Hopefully we will have a new prosecuter since she lost her run for judge. She said she was going to move on to something else no matter what. Good riddance as far as I'm concerned!
