Jurisdiction Question Revamp

My future Daughter-in-law got a ticket in mishawaka (mckinnley and logan) from a walkerton LEO. The ticket was for failure to signal lane change. The Ticket says she has to appear at the walkerton town court. Although the offense is in the city limits of Mishawaka is the ticket valid or is this something she can fight?

Well, I'm not familiar with that part of the State but are they both within the same County? If so, there is probably no issue. As Indiana LEO's, we can stop, arrest, write tickets anywhere in Indiana. The issue for us is not jurisdiction but rather paperwork.

I understand that in indiana a LEO is a LEO where ever they go, but if the infraction is in mishawaka can they order her to appear in walkerton town court?

If both towns are in the same county then there probably isn't any issue with jurisdiction. 5-6 agencies all write their tickets into the same city court in many places.
