IMO Northwoods is a huge hike for virtually everyone, as cool as it is. Distance wise china buffet on 30 and 41 is too, not to mention that place has SERIOUS food borne illness issues, I would NEVER eat there. Ever. I live in Portage, so Valpo is much better for me. If it is in Valpo, make SURE it's by a decent interchange. I'd also like to toss in the hat Bass Pro shop in Portage for the lunch. Can't get any closer to 80/94 and 90. Their food beats the pants off of cabelas and it's more central too
