![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Need some Network Admin assistance... If any of you guys know in-depth networking, I am in need of some quick assistance. I'm by no means a professional network admin, but I do know more than most. My problem is that I am trying to assign a static IP address to a machine, but it's not cooperating. What I have is a DVR for some security cams on my network at work and I want to assign one of our static IP's to the DVR itself so that I can view it remotely without using port forwarding. I've tried numerous times, and I still can't seem to get it. The .pdf info that came with it says to assign it an IP but there is no provision in the server software to do so. Any help is appreciated.
