| There are many good methods of making ethanol. In fact, corn is one of the least efficient. As part of a corn state, we are supposed to be happy that we make money for turning corn into gas, but it is a real waste of resources that uses as much energy as it produces. There have been articles about using algae for a while. I hope they get it commercially viable soon and our grain farmers go back to making food.
