They do have somebody to peek inside purses and bags as you enter, but no real search or metal detector.

I know that I could hide more inside a normal winter coat than what would fit in my wife's purse. The check is merely for appearances.

They do ask you to open your coat, but nothing beyond a cursory look.

I've carried to every game I've ever been to there.

Yep, security theater. I carried a full size pistol in there OWB under my coat once. Then got asked to open my coat the next game but wasn't carrying that time. Well concealed you should be okay.

It is really pretty dumb when you think about it. If a terrorist wants to blow up/shoot a bunch of people then a long line waiting to get searched so they're "safe" works just fine for the jihadist oriented. I guess if you make it through the entrance THEN you're "safe".

Thanks for the info. Security was exactly as described. Looking in bags and purses, probably more worried about bringing in your own food or drinks.

Walked right in on Saturday night. While walking to seat, "security" saw my knife clipped to my back pocket. Told me to take it to the car. I walked out, stepped around the corner for a moment, stuck it deep in my pocket, then walked back in. No notice was taken of any other items that I may have been concealing.
