| wheelman for hire ![]() | If I can't get a confirmation from the real police that the raid is real, and there are no red and blues flashing on the car/s. Then I'm gonna assume its fake. Cause I'd stay that 99% of the time you will be able to confirm that its real police by one of those 2 things. If I can illuminate them without them seeing me then that's all the better. And if they go for a gun they will be mowed down either by buckshot or 45 hp's. Esp since I live out here in BFE. So There is little to nill of a chance of the police barging in with the wrong address, and I've never done anything more than speed in my car occasionally. So they would have absolutely no reason to bust in like that anyways. So much more likely than not, if it were to happen they would be criminals and be dealt with accordingly.

And on another date didn't you openly brag when a utility worker accidently entered on your property...again...quoting you..."I work midnights and and about a week ago the cable guy decided to just walk into the back yard and look at the pole or something needless to say...I thought the guy was going to sh*t his pants when he came from behind the garage and saw...me standing there with a 12 gauge. the best part was when he looked up and saw (me) it was priceless the look of shear terror when he realized that you just shouldnt going where you arent envited." But inflicting that terror wasn't enough for you was it?? You wanted more...you wanted to know what it was like to kill... As it turns out...this man...that entered your home...that you shot down in cold blood...your neighbor...had been out drinking and returned to the wrong home and entered into the wrong house...and that somehow you lured him in. Through the front door that you say you accidently left unlocked. You sat there waiting...and when he entered the door you murdered him...shot him...not once, not twice, but three times...the same man that in the weeks before this event you had been having several loud, heated arguments with because he didn't believe in people owning guns...and then you used the very guns he objected to...the very guns that you openly plotted to use on that internet website that promotes murder and violence. On this very website other members promote the violent overthrow of the government (this is really why they don't want that crap on here) and the murder of anyone who would attempt to take away their firearms...and in fact others they deem not to share their violent, anti-social and murderous ways. On this very website that other members state that when the government comes they will die in a pile of brass before they give up their guns. In fact...in a thread where you and the other fanatics were openly plotting and discussing what you would do when someone uninvited entered your home. So I ask again Mr. kgeb...did you or did you not plan and openly express even to the detail of which guns you would use to kill this man??? Did you or did you not openly brag about murdering another human being? "Well....uhhh...." Your Honor...the prosecution rests. Some things should go left unsaid... Because this is how it will be used against you. Don't read more into it than what there is. I'm not saying this forum is full of plotters and murders. I'm just saying...this is how it will be portrayed. And kgeb...I'm not picking on you...I swear. ![]() And remember... Let's be careful out there.

![]() ![]() | Wellll................................... Since I work for a Sheriff's Office, I can be PRETTY sure it won't be my coworkers showing up for a visit. I consider three things: 1. Make sure the family is safe and holed up. 2. Call 911 and leave the line open (our dispatchers just LOVE hearing things "in progress") 3. Call out for your visitors to identify themselves. If they don't, well then, them's the breaks when your impromptu range practice interrupts their felonious mayhem. Remember: Home invaders ARE NOT your run of the mill burglars. Home invaders specifically target occupied dwellings for the purpose of committing all sorts of mayhem and to intimidate and coerce the occupants of the dwelling. Be prepared to repel boarders by all means necessary.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would assume that most of us would have a plan in this circumstance. Leaving the emergency line open helps the authorities know what happened and that the occupants were in danger. Also remember that training is often just as valuable as the weapon! Remember, dial 911 first if possible ![]() |

If someone enters your house by force, you have the right to use deadly force to repel that attack. If the police don't properly ID themselves then they will be the ones responsible for any deaths or injuries. The homeowner stands a chance of being killed in that situation but he also stands a chance of being killed if he does nothing and it really isn't the police but BG's knocking the door down. The prosecutor may use all the tactics you stated in your story but a decent defense attorney will counter those assertions by pointing out "the law". Not a sure thing I agree but not a slam dunk for the prosecutor either. To the OP: It does suck but your going to have to make a decision about what to do if the time comes. It's better to do that now than to have to do it when the adrenaline dump is going on. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Jails and prisons are full of people who otherwise wanted only to do the right thing. How many threads here have been about people who thought they were defending their life or property and ended up being the scapegoat for a seemingly over zealous prosecutor. I just would not want to...at a minimum...give them ammo that would devestate my savings in my defense. I understand that when the chips are down...we have to do what we hope is the right thing. And then hope everyone else sees it the same way. Anything that could cause light to be shed in a different manner is counter-productive to our cause. ![]()

![]() | 3 reasons I need to be watchful. 1: I live in Greene County, land of the meth lab. folks have been busted in my own neighborhood for making the stuff. So there are unsavoury folks about at times. 2: My house is 400 feet from the street and there is basically wilderness on 3 sides of me. So I can be pretty sure neighbors wont be calling me if someone is prowling about. 3: My wife is a probation officer and has been threatened many times. This is why I have strong doors, 2 dogs and a gate on my stairs that you cant open if you don't know how. I have a shotgun and a .45 if needed, and the wife has her .38, BUT Shooting somebody is the last resort I would take, not the first. That said: If someone breaks in, kills the dogs and makes their way up the stairs, I will be pretty sure they arent just checking the meter. |
