How common is OC in IN? - Page 2

I have never open carried anywhere off my property and I have never seen anyone else doing it in my 48 years other than LEOs (excepting gun shop staff in their store).

I OC and CC, mostly OC though. I have seen a 6-8 people OCing that I can remember. The last one (about 6 months ago) was a guy looked to be in his mid to late 20's with a Ruger GP100. It was at either Brownsburg or Avon Wal-mart. Was that anyone here.... anyone..?

I am OCing more and more. Not had a single problem, but I can hear the eye balls clicking on some people when I do it though. I plan to carry that way when I go out today.

Im down for any Open Carry event in the indianapolis or greenwood area. If anyones planning something. Breakfast, lunch, a big meet/dinner would be cool. ... man I wish it was cook-out waether!

I used to live in Fountain Hills (AZ), now live in Fishers (IN), both for about the same amount of time - 3 years. I saw open carry in the PHX area infrequently, but I've never seen anyone OC here in IN. Sure, it's anecdotal, but I think (feel) its much more common in AZ than it is here in IN.

Seen open carry several times in the Indy area. 1 in Indy, 1 in Greenwood.

C'mon over/up/down to Adams County. There are a couple of us that OC on a regular basis.

I've been OC'ing a lot around Noblesville/Fishers/Carmel lately with no problems. As it's winter, I usually have a cover garment on, but generally take it off when I get to my destination (such as a restaurant). Haven't had so much as a glance that I'm aware of.

I OC all the time. (except when I have my winter coat on) Have a few problems now and then. Last time was at Cabela's With Turnandshoot4 a month or 2 back when we did an OC lunch at northwoods up north here.

Ive seen a few people OCing, most memorable would be seeing Prometheus's wife Juanita OCing in walmart, giving me the stones to do it myself.

And an older guy, mid 60s to early 70's walking with his cane and wife in (where else?) walmart. He had a Colt 1911 cocked and locked in a nice leather shoulder rig.
