Nice assumption. I oc about 90% of the time. The second best attention I can get is no attention. The first best is someone inquiring about firearm carry and what they have to do to be able to carry too.
To the OP. Nicely handled. The only thing you could have done better was to not give in and cover up. Though this could have made for a difficult evening. Hope this is your first and last negative experience.

I respectfully disagree with your post as you guessed some would. I, like you, cc because I don't like anyone else knowing I'm carrying. I don't believe though, that a law abiding citizen should be harassed by anyone especially a LEO just because he doesn't like a legal weapon being shown. It's legal, even if you don't like it, it's his right as a free "licensed" citizen.

A citizen got boned tonight by a 5-member town council hired LEO with badge balls. He was then told he had a penis in a holster on his hip.

That is the issue. Not whether or not you want to see guns on hips.

I normaly CC myself just due to this sort of thing. But I do think it was total BS for that chief to treat him like that. When he told me on the phone what happened all I could think was wtf? You'd think for a chief he'd know his law better than that. I wonder what he'd say if me and dracconix both went down there sometime OC'ing. Me with possibly two on me, lol. I think that guy would blow his top, lol.

While I certainly have no distaste for freedom and am no way ashamed of my guns, I do error on the side of caution. The fewer people that know I have a gun on my person the better (in my opinion). How you (joe) came to your conclusions and statements has me scratching my head. Why would you feel the need to attack me for a simple observation, I am guessing your a beligerant ***.

In Indiana we can carry open legally or concealed. So you not liking "seeing guns" does not really matter at this point. I for one cannot believe that you have a pro 2A avatar with a citizen holding a gun yet say in a post: "I would not want to see guns". Wow that makes a whole lot of sense?

I don't think any one is attacking you here but obviously you are on the attack by calling people names.

I don't openly carry but I applaud those that do and I have an appreciation and respect for it.
