Hmmmm. 85% CC? From my experiences, I guess this means the OC'ers are more vocal about their beliefs and preferences.

I cc at work, but I OC outside of work. So what ever that split is I put that I CC most of the time cause that's 8 hours a day five days a week and only every few evenings that I'm out and about.

it is about 60/40 for me.kind of a summer winter thing.in the summer i cc where i know for sure it will scare and upset the people around other than that oc in the summer.winter the jacket takes care of it

i oc for comfort but when my shirt is untucked it doesnt really matter cause you can still see it through the shirt. i guess thats what i get for carrying a fullsize 1911. i tried ccing for about 2 months and it literally hurt my hip

I don't want people to know who I am, where I am going and why. Anonymity is a weapon. When the time comes, well, I practice my draw and live fire at the range for that time. OC if you want. But, don't think me less for CC'ing. I like the element of surprise, and hopefully will implement effectively if I am ever called to do so.

We don't think less of you for CC, but apparently it's not a two way street for a lot of folks.

My guess is the folks who CC are not very vocal for a good reason. They don't want anyone to know they carry. That's my reason anyway.

I OC 90%+ in the summer. It would take a very special effort to OC during winter. I value deterrence over surprise. If I get a chance to educate some sheeple and change perception of guns owners along the way that's great too.

For me, it is CC 99 percent of the time. With me being only 21 and living across the RR tracks from Indiana State University (you know how close if you live in Terre Haute) people just don't get an eased feeling seeing someone near a school with a gun. That and I do not have an OWB holster that I feel keeps the gun in place.
