I understand you point on this.... but I felt I would share a story of a case I got last week involving an armed robbery. My victim was walking down a street here in Merrillville and on his way to the gas station at the corner of the intersection. The victim was oc'ing a Springfield Armory xd9 sub-compact.

While walking down the street, a car passed him slowly and three (3) occupants whom the victim stated were dressed like thugs, exited the vehicle and approached him from behind with guns drawn on him. Two of the thugs held him at gun point while the third suspect disarmed him and took his wallet and cell phone.

The suspects fled back to the vehicle and sped off out of sight. I cant tell you that being armed was the reason he was robbed ... it probably would have happened regardless. In this case and the way he described it, sounded as if they robbed him for his weapon being that it was the first thing they went for when they encountered him.

Im just happy he didnt react by trying to fight it out ... he probably wouldnt have been here today... just my .

Im still waiting on the cell phone records hoping they made some calls on his phone so we can get these knuckle heads.
