So, this known good guy that stopped what could had been a mass murder is now disarmed? After stopping a "family feud" that sounds suspiciously like a gang related incident?

Makes you think doesn't it?

At least the authorities were decent enough not to publish his name.

"Sgt. Eric Silva said Villagomez, 30 of Winnemucca, fired a number of shots but from a large-capacity semiautomatic pistol but couldn’t say how many."

Exactly how large of a capacity did this 'large-capacity' pistol have that he had to reload? When they say 'semiautomatic', does that mean it wasn't a revolver?

I just don't understand the wording that they used.

If the comments on the story are to be trusted, all of them, and at least the two brothers spoke English quite well.
