   | How much does you every day carry weigh? I weighed myself with and without my EDC. That is gun, reloads, mag holder, knife and sheath. I'm at 8.9 pounds.

| I alternate between 9mm and 45acp guns. Both are 1911 style guns. The 45acp weighs 32ounces + 7 rounds of 45acp. The 9mm weighs 24ounces + 9 rounds of 9mm. Both fit the same holsters, the Don Hume JIT OWB probably weighs no more than 4 to 6 ounces. The Cross Breed Super Tuck may weigh closer to 8 to 10 ounces. Either gun, loaded, with holster, is going to be under 3 pounds total weight. No knife. No flashlight. No extra magazines. Been carrying like that for roughly 20 years. Occasionally I'll pocket carry a .380acp, with ammo and holster, those weigh under 1.25 Pounds. |

| Right now carrying my Glock 26 it tips the scale at 26.1 ounces loaded. When I switch over to my Glock 36 it will be just shy of 27 ounces with 7 rounds of .45 ACP
