Lars... I beg to disagree. Read the following excerpt from that same article linked in your Original post...

I believe enough relevant data is now on the table to form a hypothesis.
When prominent daily newspapers can get away with lecturing us that firearms properly used by law-abiding citizens to stop crimes and prevent injuries are "more frightening than a criminal's knife," when even self-styled Republican NRA-member politicians in once-fairly-libertarian Nevada can ridicule the Second Amendment, sarcastically asking me "Why don't you extend your argument to the constitutionally-protected right to carry a ... shoulder launched anti-aircraft missile?" we have lost.
There was alot more to read but that quickly sums it up.
The writer wrote as a well-schooled liberal, but he was defending our constitutional rights vehemently!!!

Seriously though I would basically agree with Pami. If the employee's or anyone else for that matter were not making headway on stopping the BG....then I would hope, or like to think, that I could draw his attention to myself and stop him. Either by just the show of my concealed headed in his direction or the actual use of it. (which ever works, its his call)

I would hope that by ending it with myself, that if it went to court that would be considered.

Just my two pennies worth.... Next!

has there ever been a case of a licensed person taking out a BG and getting convicted for those actions??

If you think about it, the right to bear arms can be interpreted as a right to protect yourself and others who cannot protect themselves

also, geta2j......I wonder what their reactions would be to a stinger...

Indiana Code specifically states that you may protect yourself or a third party if there is a threat at hand.
