WHOA THERE INGO, don't be so quick to judge!!! Gary was going to be the second site if Chicago won the Olympic bid, maybe they were just practicing for the shooting events?!?

It would be the only place that they could have the shooting events due to the restrictive laws in PRIL.

Come on Big John. That's just uncalled for. It's like me calling you a fat cheeseburger-eating machine simply based on your forum name. Very ignorant. And what does it have to do with "bleedin-heart" liberals? Sounds like someone is getting all of their ammo from Rush. Shame shame. Don't we want freedom, liberty, and personal responsibility? A man can buy booze and consume booze anytime he pleases. Just like all of us desire the right to be armed whenever we please. There are so many reasons that someone would go to a liquor store at 10am on a Sat. Have you ever heard of football? Damn straight I start drinking on a Sunday ,before noon, watching pregame, grillin' out. Regardless, no person deserves to be innocently shot at for any reason!!!

Watch your step, Big John runs the show here, or so he thinks. I left him neg rep for his very ignorant comments. I even explained why. Then he turned around, found some random other post that I had posted about (just so he could leave rep in return) and then left me neg rep just because I left him some. He got the honor of being the first person added to my ignore list. I don't care what he has to say anymore, a person with his level of disrespect doesn't deserve to have his opinion heard IMHO.

46th and Broad, that not the worst place to be in Gary. The whole city sucks but 46th is almost in M'ville, and it's ashame that the crime and filth of Gary is moving to the surrounding towns and burbs. My dad grew up in Gary in the 60's, he's told me that its alot different now, they never had the problems in Gary when he was growning up. And it was actually a decent city to live in. I use to work at 1st and Buchanan St at the mill, I've seen alot of interesting things happen on my way to work going though downtown Gary.
