i do tentatively plan on attending his NWI class in Cabelas. ill see how that goes.

If you do decide to take a training course you have several options to consider. I'm one of them.

I offer the NRA's First Steps AND Basic Pistol Courses, as well as an advance Concealed Carry course. Please see my advertiser foum posts or my website Indy Gun Safety Home. I have a class next weekend.

Welcom to the world of CC/OC! I felt awkward when I first started to carry. I felt almost naked, like everyone was watching me. That goes away very quickly and it becomes as normal as putting on your watch. Good luck!

Congratulations on accepting the responsibility of personal safety responsibility. They're expensive, but I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting on Milt Sparks build list and order a VersaMaxll for an IWB carry holster. I carry a full-size 1911 and forget that it's back there. Heavenly comfortable and excellent quality.
