 | Gun in school parking lot. I know that you are not supposed to carry a gun inside a school. i also know the "exception" that if you stay in your car in the parking lot to pick up or drop off someone, you are still ok. but, are you allowed to leave the gun locked in your car unattended in a school parking lot while you personally enter the school say for a fundraiser breakfast. otherwise you would have to leave your gun home for the whole day just b/c your first stop is school.
