Drinking the RCS Kool-Aid

I ordered a Leather OWB holster from Boomstickholsters.com for my P30 on the recommendation of some folks on another site. I feel your pain

I've been running RCS stuff for a while now. they have always been a great product, and the guys have always helped me out whenever I needed something special or something on short notice. I can't say enough good things about these guys, they really are top notch. Let me know what you think once you start running it.

I wore Pami's RCS & P250 to work one day with the IWB loops.
I like my MTAC a lot better for an IWB holster. That said, OWB, the RCS is MUCH nicer than the Peter's Custom Holsters "Hold Out" OWB Kydex holster I had for the USP Tactical.

What specifically do you like better? I considered the MTAC b/c of the high marks that you, Ri22o and others here have given it. BUT, this rig will be replacing a Comp-Tac product and wanted to go a different way, plus I wasn't sure if I'd like a hybrid design (I got rid of all my leather rigs several years ago).

Will report back once I've received the Phantom and had a chance to live with it for a bit.

This is likely a "build issue" However the plastic holster seems to dig into my side while I'm sitting. Specifically the slide guard portion of it. It's not as bad while the pistol is in the holster but when the gun is out of the holster the thin kydex is rather sharp and pointy.

The MTAC is comfortable enough I nearly forget I've got my gun on my belt most days.

On the flip side, the left side of my P30 slide shows more holster wear than the right side. The left side happens to be against leather, while the right is against Kydex. I don't care as my P30 is not an investment in anything other than my protection.

I just checked their site and could not find one for the P9? is it custom?

I got an Email within 24 hours of my order, stating that they were running about 25 days behind, but that my credit card wouldn't be charged until my order actually shipped. Good communication so far; I'm impressed.
