Carry in outside of House in Yard?

Just curious if anyone does this. I wouldn't mind if someone knew that my house was protected by Smith and Wesson but I also would not like to advertise the fact that I may have firearms in the house, especially since I travel for work.

Any opinions?

Huh?

I do sometimes carry in the house. Certainly when I get home, I don't immediately go place the CCW in the safe.

I do carry outside of the house. I do not limit myself from carrying in the yard.

Are you asking if I Open Carry in the yard?

I don't typically open carry.

One of us has drank too much. It could be either one of us.

Keeps the neighbors from parking in front of my house. Seriously, since I started OC'ing my neighbors are never rude anymore... they are alot nicer.

Everywhere I've lived I've found relations improved and any shenanigans from their kids disappear over night.

I carry outside of the house, both CC and OC. I had a small ordeal with some kids wanting to trespass and cut through my yard when I was OCing once. I don't think they have been back.

I OC in the yard on a regular basis. I actually had a brief conversation about this with my neighbor last night while helping him hang a ceiling fan.

He saw I had my gun on me and said "My neighbor (who lives on the other side, two houses down from me) asked me the other day, what's up with your neighbor always walking around with a gun on his side?." I don't really remember what his reply back was, but mine was "I take it everywhere." My neighbor said "good, you should. I've been throwing around the idea of getting one." That sentence was shortly followed by "I just need to find the time to stop in at Don's." I about crapped myself and quickly gave him a lesson.

I have a 9 year old son so I carry on my person all the time, never leave it sitting around. It dose not matter to me what I am doing mowing, choppin wood, or weed eating its always there. Typically ccw but I have and will open carry and the neighbors never say anything, but I also have a little range setup in the back and shoot 4 to 5 times a week with no complaints. I live outside city limits on major state highway and only have a couple of neighbors but I got about 3 acers. My only problem is when I am swimming, its a little tough to ccw in speedos..lol

The answer there is a Glock 17 in a matching color shoulder holster. Gives you weird tan lines, but that is the price to pay to be able to shoot under water.
