And to those of you carrying at the Fair...

Do you conceal and fail to present a loaded firearm and fail tu unload and present it upon entrance at Indy 1500? Probably not... but but but with what you say for the Fair... It is right so why aren't you?

Dude, your analogy kung fu is weak like a kitten. With mono.

I hope you're asserting I have a "wild west attitude." Now I can get a big hat and some pointy-toed boots. I love the accusation, because it's virtually indentical to the similarly weak argument that groups like the Brady Campaign often make to oppose people carrying (or being allowed to own) guns at all. You'd make a very good apologist for them by their standards, and I'm sure they'd pay you well.

Hehehe . . . I accept responsibility for myself, and I have a "wild west attitude." That's a compliment, whether you realize it or not.

Period.

People with wild west attitudes, and attitudes like that are why all gun owners get a bad rep by the majority.

But, yep. It is "a fundamental principle of American law that a government and its agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any individual citizen." Warren v. District of Columbia, 444 A.2d 1 (D.C. of Ap., 1981). Upheld June 27, 2005 in a Supreme court ruling of Castle Rock V. Gonzales. It's every person's responsibility to protect themselves, their family, and their property.
Apparently, madame, you have a "wild west attitude." Of course, they used to just call it "being an American," but few seem too clear on that concept lately.

I salute you!

I don't see where saying I can carry wherever I want becuase I feel the need to protect myself as being good. As long as we have laws and rules telling us where when how and why we can or can't carry... it's a very GOOD thing to abide by those laws and rules. Just becuase we SHOULD be able to carry anywhere, doesn't mean we should break laws and go against rules no matter how stupid they are to us. We are fortunate enough to live in a country that does allow us to own firearms... we don't want to give them reasons to completely take away that right from us.

If you don't like a law... write some letters don't break it.

If you don't like a rule... write some letters and don't give the place your business in protest... don't think you are above their rules.

Being American has little to do with breaking laws. I believe that is called being a criminal.

Breaking rules might not carry the same title and punishments... but if you don't like the rules, don't go to those places.

I'm not above a rule or law, but I'd also rather not trust my life to someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the well being of me or my family. I'm doing whatever I deem necessary for self preservation.

You quoted a comment that was directed to me in your post. Are you saying that your statement was not directed at me as well? Or what?
If you weren't "speaking" to me, then it's a misunderstanding. However, if you were then buckle up.

I am surprised no one has used the line:

I will take Rhino with me.

And left it at that...
