Open carry gone wrong!

First let me say that I generally carry in the waist band. But I often carry open as well. A couple weeks ago on the way to my favorite place to camp we decided to get a gallon of Crown Royal. Just a normal thing stopped at the liquor store in BFE. We went in and as I was paying 2 cops are talking to my wife and my uncles girl. As I exited the store I pulled my ID and permit. Apparently some one called saying 2 men with guns where entering the liquor store. The cops where great to us. Never touching my gun. And even corrected me when I refereed to owning a gun as a privilege. He proudly told me it was my right! I understand people are scared these days, But that was petty. IMO

You need a GALLON of Crown to go camping? And you have your guns with you, too?

Am I the only one that sees potential disaster in the making?
