Whenever they get a decent amount of ammo, I expect. :dunno:

That said, we do have a good amount of .223/5.56, 7.62x39, .308 and .40SW in stock, and just got in some subsonic 9mm and .300BLK. My advice to attendees is, start scrounging anywhere and everywhere NOW, so that over the next 6 weeks you can accumulate what you need for the event.

Orion Arms should have some ammo during their Customer Appreciation Days Sept 13/14 as well. An option for you southern folk.

Will .458 SOCOM be available to purchase at the event as well? Or that an item we need to TRY and find ourselves?

EDIT: On the weapons that fire 5.56, .223 will be OK to bring right?

For anyone that has been before, Does anyone have a suggestion on how much ammo of each type one would need?

Depends on how much of what you want to shoot. Most people end up bringing WAY more than they actually use. Figure 200-300 rounds of the popular calibers with multiple guns (9mm, 5.56, etc) and maybe 20-50 rounds of those calibers you only want a taste of.

No; mags will be provided with the guns and there are usually plenty to go around. Limiting mags to vendors only will help prevent confusion and lost equipment.

10-4. Was looking to load up all mags prior. Makes sense though. What if all my mags have pink tape? =P

A freakin MG42?!?!? Are you kidding me? That is on my bucket list of guns! How much will the ammo be??

I'll be bringing 30 reloadable belts and a few thousand rounds of 8mm. Purchase price on the ammo will be $44 per 50 round belt. If you prepay with cash, belts are $42. That's pretty much my cost. 8mm ammunition isn't cheap, but shooting the MG-42 is a once in a lifetime experience. Wait until you hear it. :)

Will .458 SOCOM be available to purchase at the event as well? Or that an item we need to TRY and find ourselves?

I'll be bringing a few hundred rounds of 458 Socom as well.

want a copy of mine from the last 2 years? ;)

    Heck yeah!

I'll be bringing 30 reloadable belts and a few thousand rounds of 8mm. Purchase price on the ammo will be $39 per 50 round belt. If you prepay with cash, belts are $36. That's pretty much my cost. 8mm ammunition isn't cheap, but shooting the MG-42 is a once in a lifetime experience. Wait until you hear it. :)

Prepay as in pay cash when we get there, or before the event entirely?
