Out of curiosity, isn't that a sawed off shotgun under Indiana law?

I thought (probably mistakenly) that even if such an AOW was approved by the BATFE, it was still illegal under Indiana law. Or, because it was a "pistol" receiver, it is considered a pistol?

It came from Remington with a pistol grip only, sot it can become an AOW, which is Indiana legal. Yes, it's silly how that works, but I got a great deal on it, the eight month wait notwithstanding.

    Interesting - thanks!

A word of caution - it would require a very astute LEO and prosecutor to sort through that logic. Probably with help from ISP.

No, not an SBS. It's an AOW.

It never had a stock on it, it was transferred as a pistol.

Pistols can be made into these AOWs, receivers with stocks are sold as long-guns and, therefore stupidly can't be converted into these in Indiana.
