   | Question for you NFA/ClassIII guys I'm not very familiar with the NFA and ClassIII rules and regulations, or even the proper use of the 'lingo', but I do have a question. What effect, if any, is there if you were to use a regulated item in a self-defense or home-defense situation? Say you have a LEGALLY-OWNED suppressor on your pistol or a short-barreled shotgun that you use to stop an attack by an intruder in your home. Is there any law saying you can't? How would this look in a trial? Just curious.
