| INGO Bishop of Bacon ![]() | .22LR suppressor on my AR It's recently been brought to my attention that my AR is already threaded with the correct thread size to mount my .22LR suppressor. Can anyone confirm that (with a .22 conversion kit, of course) A) I can shoot .22LR through a .223/5.56 barrel with a .22LR suppressor attached and B) that it really is likely to be threaded correctly for my suppressor (1/2x28)? To re-iterate, I know you can't shoot .223 through my suppressor. That wasn't my question. If you were about to say that, please go back and re-read from the beginning. Also, the flash suppressor that is currently mounted to the end of my AR appears to be on there pretty tight. It doesn't appear to be pinned or welded, but I can't get it loosened. It has a washer of some sort behind it. Is it possible that it's been Loc-Tite'd on, and if so, what's the best way to remove it without damaging either the barrel or the flash suppressor?
