Technically, you should have the barrel threading check by a gunsmith to make sure it is bore-centric. I'm content, at least with better barrels, putting a fairly tight fitting carbon rod in the barrel with the suppressor installed as a quick check.. You will want a peel washer or two because the AR threads are about .100" longer and will protrude past most .22 cans threads and possibly lead to a removal issue due to carbon buildup. As far as the flash suppressor removal goes, a little heat will more than likely help, along with an armorers wrench.. A side benefit of the fast twist rate of AR's is I have been able to shoot the 60 gr Aguila subs. They are 100% reliable for me.
