We are going to have to talk camera's sometime. I'm going to be in the market for one for next wedding season. And I'm going to switch from Nikon to .................... *gasp* Canon! I like the Canon's colors better than the Nikon. So my D50 and D80 will be backups. So, what is a good Canon DSLR for under 1k? It has to be better than my D80. My D80 stacks up to the 40D pretty well but I don't want last year's camera either. Jeez, I don't know anymore.

One is a production gun with 4 mags and a beavertail the other is hand built in Germany. The gun offered by stony is ALOT like the equinox you have. Just a few dress up differences (grips that funnel the magwell, threaded barrel which are hard to come by for a sig because they aren't made enmass) and less mastershop work.
All of the X-5's are hand built in Germany. No production work here in the US. All special imports. The X-5 tactical I want might not be a possiblity. There are only 60 in the US. Ugh.

That's one nice gun. An INGO member has a 226 Blackwater tactical for sale. How do the two compare?

Thanks or the rep... I tried to hit you earlier but I'm out for today. I'd love to make it up north... problem is my schedule. It will happen someday. Maybe even an INGO function near Indy. I think I going to try and organize an INGO lunch or dinner down here.
