What's a good fixed blade with a horizontal sheath? I have the gerber ghoststrike right now and it is pretty awesome just a little small for my hands.

You will find that very few production knives have a horizontal carry option. It's more important for you to choose the correct blade that will serve your intended purpose, then modify the existing sheath with a Tek Lok system, or something similar. Also, there are plenty of people that can make you a custom sheath.
