I am wondering or debating which one I should put on my 458 socom upper. Right now I have a Eotech 512 which is fine but for longer range, it's hard to see. And I don't have the $$$ to get a magnifier for it. If scope is better for long ranger range, then I'd sell the 512 and get a scope. Which scope is good to hold up the recoil of the 458 socom? TIA

I use these in my home office to store ammo cans and accessories in. They lock to keep out kids and curious entities. It is a effectively a gun accessory cabinet (not gun safe) that blends in to an office. If it says HON it is not a thin metal cabinet. These usually cost ($400 and up) way more than you would pay for this use but these look like they are going for around $100. I was looking up sources for replacement keys on the internet when I came across these.

TAD Gear Anyone?

Anyone have experience with TAD Gear? I was looking at the TAD Shag Master Hoodie (yes, yes, suppress that snickering) and thought it would ideal for winter training.

Here's the TAD jacket I was eyeing:

TAD Gear Shag Master Hoodie M.O.G. | T.A.D. Gear, Inc. (http://www.tadgear.com/shop.php?id=747)

Image: http://www.tadgear.com/uploads/products/medium/shag_mog6_650w_1.jpg

It looks like the gear that TF141 wears in COD: Modern Warfare 2 (the raid on the safehouse):

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Maxed out screenshots show best quality possible - 2009/11/MW2-BestOf14.jpg - PC Games Hardware (http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,699233/Call-of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-2-Maxed-out-screenshots-show-best-quality-possible/Practice/&menu=browser&image_id=1220342&article_id=699233&show=original)

I usually wear mountain climbing long sleeved shirts, an EOTac pullover and then a ski sweater (I have insulated ones from Beretta and Sahalie).

This allows movement for twisting my torso (shooting, reloading, etc.).

Anyone have one?

So, what type of shooting glove do you use or recommend to use?

I just got my Taurus 617 .357 7-shot revolver, and I need a good pocket holster for it.

I've been searching here and google, and haven't found a definitive answer.

I'm looking for specific recommendations, not just places to look.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

It is not the QD Uncle Mike's kind, but the kind that just has the swivel with a wood screw. I need 1 1/4', I found one at a local gun shop for $1, but it was only 1". I searched the internet and found one, but it was $20 plus $10 for shipping. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get this for a reasonable price?

OWB holster suggestions

I'm looking for suggestions on a good OWB holster, if possible specifically for a Ruger SR9 or similar size gun. For IWB I have a Crossbreed Supertuck that works very well. However, I'm now interested in an OWB holster for possible OC and also because this time of year I figure I can still conceal easily with OWB (e.g., while wearing a jacket).

One I'm looking at is the CrossBreed Snapslide, because I like their Supertuck and also have one of their belts that I'm very satisfied with. I like the leather over Kydex look. However, I'm not sure how I feel about the end of the barrel being exposed while OWB. :dunno:

Thanks!
