![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | WTT/High Standard-The Sharpshooter WTT Hi Standard-The Sharpshooter. Real nice pistol here! This pistol has minor holster wear on the barrel and trigger guard. No box or manual. Besides that, it is flawless. Manufactured in Hamden Conn. The SN# on the frame dates to 1969. -Sport King marked frame w/ Model 103 marked slide. This is one of the early ones! Im interested in possible trade for Colt or S&W revolver, Glock 17, possibly other auto?, AK(no Wasr's please), Retro AR stuff. Im open to any firearm trade ideas. Can + or - cash where needed. I dont have cash price in mind. If you do, let me know. Worst I can do is say no thanks. FTF only-Im on the Southside of Indy. A little history pulled off of John Stimson's High Standard Information about this model...... A .22 LR caliber semiautomatic pistol with a 10 shot magazine. 5.50" bull barrel, blued finish; adjustable sights; checkered plastic grips on the early guns. Some produced with Model 103 marked slides and Sport King marked frames. Later ones with MODEL 103 marked slides only. Although the 103 marked guns have 1969 and 1970 serial numbers they were shipped after the introduction of the Sharpshooter in 1971. One can acutally see a few chnaged records where it is obvious that the early Sharpshooters were converted from Sport Kings. . Variation with "SPORT KING" marked frame and "MODEL 103" on the slide are the least plentiful followed by the variation with "MODEL 103" on the slide . The version without "MODEL 103 maked on slide is the most plentiful. My camera skills are weak, I can provide more detailed pics of whatever you need to see through E-mail. Please do not bump my add requesting more pics. E-mail is best. Click on pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Mrmonte; 08-02-2009 at 15:23. |
