Want to sell face to face in the Indianapolis area if possible, will ship for actual costs.

Asking $800 FTF / Plus shipping and any applicable FFL fees if shipped.
New Price: $700 FTF

Sig Sauer P226R 9mm, 1500 round count. Single owner. Nitron Finish (Black/Black).

Factory installed Siglite NightSights (front sight is hybrid Tritium/Fiber optic)
two factory 15 round magazines
two factory 18 round magazines
Original box, manual, pistol lock

Blackhawk Serpa Paddle Holster (right side)

(9mm bullets not included).

Pami: What are the grips like on the sig? Are they plastic and rough like the Koch or are they rubber?

They are plastic on the sides and back, Milled Steel/Aluminum (I'm not sure which) on the front strap. They are NOT rough like the USP, I find them exceptionally comfortable in the hand.

What Lars said. I really like the feel of this gun, and honestly I hate to give it up, but now that I have the P250 (although the grip isn't nearly as smooth as the P226 feels) and Lars has a P6, I doubt this one will come out of the safe very often. It needs a home where it will be well loved.

What does the R in 226R denote? Rail?

Or do they all have that R?

The R is that it is "railed"
Which I'm pretty sure all new P series pistols are. However I could easily be wrong.

Since some of these models date back to the 70's (P220)
