Here are some pics, Some of what I know about the gun is: I believe it was manufactured around 1952. It is a Springfield. I have not cross referanced the parts for matching numbers but I would say they do not. That would be very rare anyway. Looks like an armory refurbish. I was told when I got it that it was a CMP rifle but have no papers to prove it. I have not shot it since putting the Boyd Stock on it and having it parkerized. Very handsome gun. The barrel is not shot out it shoots very nice never had a problem with it. The stock that was on it is from the forties I still have the stock that came on it as well
