That number needs to be adjusted to account for the number that the ATF sent to drug cartels.

And the message to the world, both explicit and implicit?? "Don't come to the good ol' US of A and start sh%^... Unless you're in NYC or the Windy City--since they hate guns so much thereabouts, you can start all the sh%^ you want!!!"

    North Dakota soon...
Heavily armed is an understatement! We must have hundreds if not billions of guns in America. Probably why Obama and his minions take things slowly, don't wanna **** off the people too much at once...wouldn't want anyone to get angry right?

Ironic that ABC News ran a story this evening stopping just short of calling for another AWB. Their lead story was about the police officers that were shot (one killed) while entering a home (drug related investigation) just today or yesterday. The premise was that all these officers are being killed because they are "outgunned" ... too many high powered rifles in the hands of criminals willing to shoot police officers. They even used imagery to support their premise. Cue video of Police officer firing a few carefully aimed (think slow and deliberate) shots with his GLOCK followed by scary image of muzzle end of an AR being fired rapidly (think quick jerking of the trigger). ABC reported that the police are saying, "Enough is enough." Whatever that means, they didn't say.

I read somewhere recently that in the year 2009 alone (last available statistcs) something just over 400,000 ARx 15's were sold in the U.S. ALONE!
