I'm glad to hear the Chief recommending carry. However, talk is cheap. I'll believe it when I see the cultural shift in the DPD to stop harassing people who are carrying legally. I lived in the Big D for most of my life and you couldn't pay me enough to move back.

I think its by design, things will change, but we will never get back to where we started before Obummer. We constantly tick to the left, more and more, every year. Obummer took us farther left than we have gone since Roosevelt. We ain't ever getting back. Our founding fathers would consider most conservatives as socialist. Heck, we don't even need to go back that far, JFK was more conservative than anyone we've run in the last 2 presidential elections.

I hope your wrong. It would be interesting to see what could happen in 5 years if responsible people started carrying and the impact it could have on the city and crime rates.

Couldn't agree more. I'm tired of holding my nose every election, just voting for the guy who will do the least amount of damage. It all sounds good but I will reserve judgment based on action and not words. Maybe they have figured that what they have been doing for the last 40 years isn't working.
