User of Kel Tec KSG Shotgun Allegedly Shoots His Hand Off, Might Sue Kel Tec

He put a Promag vertical foregrip on his KSG and when he slammed the action shut, the grip broke and he shot part of his hand off.

He has lawyered up and is suing Kel-Tec. But it was the grip that failed. More info in the story about the lawsuit.

It is possible that the rail failed and not the grip depending on the material used to to construct it.

That grip isn't intended to be used to cycle a pump shotgun. You can look at it and quickly realize it will shear the stop, nipple, pin, whatever it's called.
