If memory serves the Accutrigger is not in the Axis line by Savage. Overall it's their economy level synthetic stock bolt in various chambers. If functionality and accuracy is all you care for and have no need for refinement in trigger, smoothness of bolt and wood stock than I am a huge fan of these....actually had a .223 bolt I LOVED and regret getting rid of.

If I remember correctly, the Accutrigger is now available in the Axis line. Think they are calling it the Axis II. Accutrigger and a scope upgrade for another $50-60.
I had an original Axis in .308 Winchester and it seemed like a solid built rifle for the money. I wanted something with more range, so I sold off the Axis and picked up a gently used Savage 110 in 7mm Remington Magnum.
And I was able to adjust the trigger on the Axis. A tad bit tricky for the first time but any good gunsmith should get it done relatively easy.
