I am going to be helping with a BSA shooting event in a couple weeks and it is at Rush county CC in Rushville. Anyone know anything about the place? I think the event is going to be shotgun only. How many shooting areas? Facilities? Running water? Any advice would be appreciated. I got surprisingly very little doing a search on INGO. :dunno: The other instructors are all asking each other if anyone knows anything about it. Apparently none of us have been there.

There is only one skeet range and there are two trap house/ranges (shot gun only). Its main building has two bathrooms (one man / one women) and a drinking fountain. It's basically just one large room, other than that. It's pretty basic but the people are friendly. There are just long table and chair's in there. They are usually open every Tuesday evening. It might be about 3000 sq ft total. It does have a nice porch on the back side facing the trap houses. It's about 1.2 east of Rushville on 44, just a quick jump to a Hardee's, Kroger, and close to Fields Outdoors, they have lots of ammo.

FYI, about 200 yards out from the grid where you stand, a rail road track runs by and it's not uncommon to be shooting and a train go by..

My Jr trap squad and I,shot there several times(we did a rotation of Alex,FCVCC,Kingen and Rushville gun clubs)we shot somewhere every weekend----------great fun at Rushville----if the wind was from the North--it turned into a "Sporting Clays Trap Range"---we usually only used traps #1 and #2---------number 3 with a North wind---the targets would seem to float forever-lol

We always stopped shooting as a train was passing---respect I guess,as the shot would not reach the tracks.....

Most of the personel were great guys---------------well,there was one old grouch-that everyone loved

We rent the building there for family events quite often. Not a bad little facility at all.
