So I know antique firearms are generally exempt from various federal and state laws. Would this include deriving a significant portion of your income from selling them? If I got properly licensed to do business in the state of Indiana and sold ammunition and antique firearms would I need any sort of FFL or additional state or federal licensure or would it be no different than if I were selling other sorts of goods like clothing or housewares? Not exactly wanting to open a gunshop, but I've got a business model in my head that does involve the sale of some firearms and their ammunition.

    Thanks INGO.

You would not need an FFL for pre1898 firearms. Reproductions of pre 1898 cartridge guns require an FFL. You would have to have good reference material for arms such as the 1892 Winchester which was produced well past 1898. Ammunition sales require no license.
