I finally completed the build of my first AR-45. I have not seen many people build them here on INGO and I had some trouble getting input on my build when it was in progress. Therefore, I figured I would share the details of the build with INGO.

    Hope you guys dig it!

Nice. You need to get a suppressor for that guy. .45 ACP practically begs to be suppressed.

.45 ARs can be lots of fun. :D

I presume the OAL is 26.0" or greater....correct?

ETA: And now, through the miracle of image hosting technology, my original question has been rendered moot!

    Be careful, op.

I have to agree. I shot my USP tac today for the first time with my suppressor (usually only shoot 9mm through it) today.... Until people at point blank stopped me because I didnt have my stamp with me. Those slow and large bullets sounds ohh so quite through a suppressor.

I'm already on the same page, guys. Ordered a Gemtech GM-45 suppressor back on January 19. Knew I was going to buy a .45ACP suppressor before I even began this build.

I missed what you used for a bolt? I'm interested in something similar but would like to go locked breach. I've got a couple of .45 suppressors that aren't being used for anything else and a .45 AR might be just the thing.

it looks great but how does she run? is it ammo sensitive? any hiccups? I have been considering a 45 build for a while but like you said not a lot of info here.

    I didn't know Quarter Circle 10 did .45 lowers.

    Very interesting...........great, another damn project.

Would be nice if LWRC would just release a semi auto version of their .45 rifle

I really love these "subguns" they have only grown in popularity recently... I really want a AR-9 glock setup and a MPX but ive held back just for this LWRC Subgun so every day hurts.... but till then i have one the KRISS Vector 9mm and a PS-90 to keep me happy I'm ready for Spring!!!!
