Thanks Printcraft. That thing looks like the bluing wore off during the Ford Administration.

That is a California Z gun, a Bryco, the bigger 9mm.

I worked at Galyan's in high school and undergrad. I sold a ton of them.

Almost went to court on this gun as a guy from Martinsville was coming in and buying them by the bushel to sell to gang members (right in the parking lot of the Pike Plaza store).

The Store Buyer called them "popcorn guns". On the floor we called them "trot line (anchor) guns".

I don't understand the gang mentality, these guys want a family to join to protect each other yet they go out and hunt down other gangs because their colors don't match or other various ridiculous reasons?

You'd think you could recognize that the gun in the video isn't a bryco, then. It is a Jennings.
It's been a long time ago, but I seem to remember these guns were sold under 2 or three different company names. I used to buy them 3 at a time used for "cash for guns turn-ins". (best price used was 3 for $25) And by the way, you meet the strangest people standing in line. Most were gun people looking to cash in and upgrade.

I know, it's akin to the Dodge/Plymouth similarities. Just needling Kirk a little, "Eez Roadrunner, eez not Super Bee." Looking back at my post, I should have purpled my typing. But if you look closely, the gun in the video has the tapered frame under the back of the slide, the red front sight, and while the back sight is missing, the screw hole is visible.
