Meh. Supports higher minimum wage, socialized health care, and beyond.

His other stances are ok. Not a libertarian, though.
We've had Republican RINOs, I guess it's time for Libertarian LINOs? Doesn't sound as nice though.

Oh, Libertarians only in name. LOINs! Ehhh.....

Ventura will not get the nomination in Orlando. He stands zero chance. He said he wasn't going to join the LP, just run under their banner. Hate to break it to him, but you have to be a member to run as a candidate. He isn't qualified. McCaffee is also trying to run as an LP candidate. He actually stands a better chance than Ventura. At least he takes libertarian stances on most matters. He probably won't get the nod either, though. Johnson stands the best chance of the current candidates. He's spent the last four years promoting the party and libertarian matters. That will count for a lot. There are a few issues that he doesn't see eye to eye with other LP members on, but he's better than Ventura or McCaffee. It'll be interesting to see who gets the nomination in April.

If I do another ranked voting thread I'll remember to throw the Libertarians in as well.

Some of the guys at Reason seem to be hesitant about Johnson though. They said he seemed high most of the time when they see him.

    Ventura is a putz.
He has no business in public office.

There's only one thing that matters to Ventura, and that's himself.

Hey! If it's good enough for the republicans, it ought to be good enough for the LP. If they want to grow and be acceptable to more people, they need to be more inclusive in their tent for people with different ideas than those that have kept them at less than 1% of the electorate.
